The question
What does an order cost against its target, part by part, from the data already in Tally?
Constraints
- A read-only user. No change to Tally.
What we did
- Replicated the full TallyPrime set-up through the gateway Tally already ships. The full transaction history took about 6 minutes.
- Mapped 110 custom document types to real procure-to-pay, sub-contracting and production flows.
- Reconciled the financial vouchers against Tally's own totals and listed the one exception.
- Priced the bill of materials of a sales order from Tally rates, with a rate source per line.
- Compared each order's target build cost with its current estimate.
Scale
23,000+ items, 2,200+ ledgers, 5,600+ vouchers and 70,000+ ledger and stock lines, refreshed daily.
